Hazel, right off the bat in the first episode.Matteo, Finn, and Destiny are these to Xander, Jorge, and Tiffany.Glady & Murphy can be seen as this to Bertram.Ironically, JESSIE itself was criticized as being a Replacement Scrappy Series to Debby Ryan's previous show, The Suite Life on Deck which in turn was again criticized as a Replacement Scrappy Series to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. One-Scene Wonder: Bertram's appearance during the Season 2 premiere is this, as his scene during the beginning of the episode was a sight many fans enjoyed.Imagine how they felt when getting to the camp and not seeing their inner circle for the past three years (Destiny and Lou) or two years (Noah). Season 6 takes place in a new camp without Finn and Matteo but with not only Noah and Parker, but also Lou and their best friend Destiny. Both either figured out they could stay or decided to do so for the next summer. Fridge Sadness: In the season 5 finale, Finn and Matteo were worried that they would have to get used to another counselor since Noah was going to Australia to film a movie and were used to Parker and didn't want him to leave either.Ensemble Dark Horse: Griff the delinquent is well liked by fans, many comparing him to Oliver Twist.While others think it's straying too far from the original premise of the show and aren't happy with the introduction of yet more new main characters, especially after the last introductions of new main characters already had some pushback. Likewise the announcement that season 6 would switch locations from the camp to a ranch got a mixed reaction, with some thinking it's a refreshing change of pace and that the show had gotten all the mileage it could out of the summer camp premise so the change in location was needed. ![]()
